The goal of WK is to play a key role in connecting two parties who have common interests with a minimum effort. You'll spend less time online and more time outdoors.
Suppose you'd like to go hiking with someone close to you. but, don't know where to find one. All you have to do is sign up and select hiking as one of your activities or interests. activities are something you physically participate in. interests are things you like or take interest in. Whenever you sign in, WK system will automatically suggest you someone nearby to go hiking with. You can begin to send them a message or privately invite them to join your event. Cool. isn't it?
This service is only available to the people physically located in Korea. Sorry guys living overseas. As we wanted to make this a safer place for offline meetups, we've chosen to utilize the online identity verification system built and provided by Korean government bodies. Which means online anonymity doesn't exist on WK. you've gotta provide us your identification information when you sign up.
But, don't worry about your privacy. WK won't store any of your identity information. we'll simply toss it to the government system and get the result to verify that the person is who they say they are. Result? Give all of us peace of mind. No anonymous posers anymore!
